Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 July 2026
1. Who we are. The controller of your personal data is MARINA ABRAMOVA PR IZDAVANJE ČASOPISA I PERIODIČNIH IZDANJA MARIKA ART SHOW BEOGRAD, Koste Glavinića 10A, 11000 Belgrade, Serbia (Tax ID / PIB: 113470552; Company ID / MB: 66848167) — the publisher of Marika Magazine ("we", "us"). For any privacy request, contact us at team@marikamagazine.com. This Policy applies to the website marikamagazine.com and to submissions we receive through our partner platforms.
2. What we do NOT collect. We do not offer user accounts on this website and do not store usernames or passwords. We do not accept payments on this website and never receive or store your card details: payments for our services are processed by Kavyar or Artells Media, and magazine copies are sold by MagCloud and dpbee.ru under their own privacy policies. We do not collect shipping addresses, run message boards, or use location-based services.
3. What we collect. (a) Newsletter: your email address, when you subscribe. (b) Submissions: your name, email address, the photographs you submit, shoot credits (names, roles) and Instagram handles of the team, and any information you include in your message — received via Kavyar, Artells Media, or email. (c) Correspondence: emails and direct messages you send us. (d) Technical data: cookies and similar identifiers collected by our analytics and marketing tools (see Section 8).
4. Why we process it and on what legal basis. We process submission data to review your work and, if accepted, to publish it with credits in Marika Magazine (print and digital), on this website, and on our social media — this is performance of our agreement with you. We publish credits and Instagram handles as part of the editorial service you request. We send the newsletter only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link. We use analytics on the basis of consent/legitimate interest to understand how the website is used and to promote the magazine, including published works, in line with the publication licence you grant us.
5. Minors and sensitive content. Our services are addressed to professionals aged 18+. If a model in a submitted work is a minor, the submitter must hold the consent of a parent or legal guardian; we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. All models in nude or lingerie content must be 18 or older.
6. How long we keep data. Declined submissions and related correspondence are kept only as long as needed to process the submission and then deleted within a reasonable period. Accepted and published works, credits, and handles are retained for as long as the publication remains available, under the licence you grant. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Accounting records are kept as required by Serbian law.
7. Who receives your data. Our service providers ("processors" or independent controllers) include: Tilda Publishing (website hosting), Kavyar and Artells Media (submission and payment platforms), MagCloud and dpbee.ru (print and digital sales), our email provider, and the social networks where published works appear (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X). Some of these providers are located outside Serbia and the EU/EEA; where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We do not sell or rent your personal data.
8. Cookies and analytics. This website uses cookies and similar technologies, including Yandex Metrica (analytics), Meta Pixel and VK Pixel (marketing). You can control cookies in your browser settings; you may also object to analytics and marketing processing by contacting us. We are working to provide a consent banner that lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies before they are set.
9. Your rights. Under the Serbian Law on Personal Data Protection and, where applicable, the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, and erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). To exercise any right, email team@marikamagazine.com; we will verify your identity and respond within the statutory deadline. If a published work should be removed, see also our takedown contact at the same address.
10. Complaints. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Serbian supervisory authority — the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (Poverenik), Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 15, Belgrade, www.poverenik.rs — or, if you are in the EU/EEA, with your local data protection authority.
11. Security. We use industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
12. Changes. We may update this Policy; the current version with its date is always available on this page.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy at marikamagazine.com/refund. Terms of service are available at marikamagazine.com/terms.
